Meet Robin

Robin Bemmann is the owner and creator of Roots of Learning. She loves spending time with her husband, son and two English springer spaniels. There is nothing she loves more then sipping a cup of tea, reading a great book and watching Star Wars!

After working with children for over 20 years in a variety of settings, from corrections to the local school board, Robin wanted to help get to the roots of students’ learning challenges. She observed that many students were falling through the cracks at school, and knew that more could be done to help.

This led her to NILD where she trained to be a Professionally Certified Educational Therapist. She is equipped and excited to offer hope to discouraged students and families. Robin has also trained in Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training (BRMT), which involves movements that make it easier for our brain to send and receive messages. This is a foundational way to support those with learning difficulties.

Robin’s desire is that students would come to see themselves as intelligent, competent learners, and that growing stronger in areas of difficulty is possible! She has seen students grow in confidence, who once felt overwhelmed and defeated. She continues to consider it a privilege to walk alongside students and families as they address the roots of learning and see wonderful growth!
